Dipen Makati is the Co-Founder of Medical Billing Experts and a seasoned healthcare management professional with a proven track record in leading and scaling operations across the healthcare services landscape.
With over seven years of experience at the helm of a successful medical consulting firm, Dipen has played a key role in driving business development initiatives for a diverse range of healthcare providers, including home health agencies, case management companies, pain management clinics, orthopedic specialists, and neurosurgical practices. His deep understanding of both clinical operations and revenue cycle optimization has enabled his clients to achieve measurable growth and operational efficiency, maximizing profitability.
Dipen currently serves as the director and billing manager for multiple healthcare practices and has operated in nine states, where he oversees all facets of billing, compliance, and strategic expansion. His ability to adapt to the complexities of regional regulations and payer dynamics has positioned him as a trusted leader in the field.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dipen is actively engaged in community service and philanthropy. As Vice President of Fundraising for the Association of the United States Army (AUSA), he brings together his strategic vision and networking expertise to support service members, veterans, and their families.
At the urging of respected industry colleagues, Dipen co-founded Medical Billing Experts in 2025 to offer credible expert witness services through comprehensive, audit-ready medical billing reports and to provide professional testimony in depositions and court proceedings.

Everett Jones is a Co-Founder of Medical Billing Experts who brings a combination of both hands on clinical support, paired with revenue cycle expertise. Everett is both a Certified Professional Biller (through the AAPC) and a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (through the HFMA).

Everett Jones is a Co-Founder of Medical Billing Experts who brings a combination of both hands on clinical support, paired with revenue cycle expertise. Everett is both a Certified Professional Biller (through the AAPC) and a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (through the HFMA).
Prior to focusing more on revenue cycle management, Everett spent several years supporting spine surgeons across more than 10 states in the operating room, assisting with complex spinal procedures such as lumbar fusions, disc replacements and more. This hands-on experience gives Everett a unique ability to bridge clinical care and billing documentation, allowing for detailed, defensible analysis of surgical billing in complex legal and insurance matters.
Everett’s experience also includes years spent as a revenue cycle consultant, for Inovalon, a leading medical clearinghouse and healthcare data company. Everett worked directly with hospitals and healthcare systems executives to improve clean claim rate, mitigate denials, and optimize reimbursement outcomes. He is a graduate of the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and a minor in Disability Studies, bringing both academic and practical knowledge to his expert billing reviews.

He is also Board Certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and certified as a Circuit, County, Family Court, and U.S. District Court Mediator.
Mr. Jones earned his M.S. and a Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership from the University of Florida in 2021, his J.D. from Cumberland School of Law in 1983 (Senior Class President), and his B.A. from the University of South Florida in 1979.
He is active in several bar associations, including The Florida Bar, Hillsborough and Citrus County Bar Associations, and the American Board of Trial Advocacy. He is admitted to practice before multiple federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court.
In the community, Mr. Jones has served on the board and as President of Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club, coached youth football and baseball, and co-founded Challenger Baseball for children with special needs. His service has earned him awards from the Positive Coaching Alliance and Hillsborough County Public Schools.
